i have tried the authentication code in the game manual but claims it is invalid

i can not find any other code anywhere in the box on the disc etc

If it's invalid and you bought it new then you need to contact the publisher or exchange it for an identical copy wherever you got it. If you bought it used then there's not much you can do.

It could be a bug and out of your control. Try a previous save to the one you are using if possible. Also you should switch to DX9 instead of directX11 and even turn some graphics settings down or off. Lastly, try the latest patch. It just came out and might fix some issues like the one you mention.

As a last resort you could copy your save game files and uninstall the game then reinstall and plug your save games back in the directory. If you end up doing that and the game still does that, you have a corrupt save or the game has a bug in it that needs patching.Batman Arkham City Crash Problem?

Well, I suggest that you increase the amount of RAM in your computer (seriously, it's too small, you need to buy a 3GB one or a 4 GB one (note that XP only read 3 GB RAM, even though you installed 4 GB, but Vista and 7 can read 4 GB RAM fully), ...

But yeah, I think you can run it. If you think it's too slow, you can just try setting your PC (like reducing the number of processes or adding virtual memory which may increases the speed of your computer)

I'm actually leaning more towards Arkham city even thought i can get it on pc cheap *cough* torrents *cough* Skyrim wont run on my pc at Mid-high settings without hitting my fps.

Your probably wondering how am i going to run Arkham city when i can't run skyrim, truth is i maxed out Arkham asylum without a hitch (no Physx) and it worked out 60+ fps constant alright so here's to arkham city being this well optimised.

Both MW3 and BF3 have theyre strong points and weak points. Its apples and oranges for me. I personally prefer BF3 because the challenge,graphics,and gameplay is far greater than MW3. One major online gaming site is Steam. Steam allows you to buy most new and a little older games. Steam works by once you download steam (It's safe trust me) you go to library they have all the recent popular games and you could also search for a game and see if you have it after you buy you'll have to wait for the game to download for best results i suggest a internet connection at least over 150 mbps I tried downloading Skyrim and I had sucky internet and it took me 2 days with 50mbps. If steam doesn't work with you you could also google other sites that you can download from.

More than likely what you'll have to do is find a game dealer somewhere that deals with digital/disc DLC. After doing this, you may have to manually install the DLC by moving it to your games install directory.

Skyrim or Arkham City?

Ok so basically I have two weeks off for holidays and I'm considering getting one of these games. Which would you recommend? I'd probably get Skyrim for PC or Arkham for X360Skyrim or Arkham City?
I haven't played Skyrim yet, but Arkham city is SOOOO addicting! I played for 5 hours straight yesterday...and I have a gaming PC and Skyrim just doesn't run very smoothly on it, so I'd get it on the Xbox.
Firstly, I would recommend that whichever one you choose to pick up the X360 version.



Now, Skyrim is an open world third/ first person medieval role playing game. The world is absolutely ginormous, and is the most beautiful and diverse video game world around. The fighting is superb, and the customisation and all-round gameplay is fantastic.

So, if you like role playing games, Skyim is your heaven. IGN score: 9.5/10.



Batman Arkham City is an amazing game. The fighting is fantastic, with an unlimited array of combos, moves and simply a ton of ways to beat on the prisoners and criminals that are your enemies.

The story is great, and the Catwoman subplot and dramatic finale make it a joy to experience.

It is not a typical comic book game. It's more like a third person fighting game rich in stealth and gadgets. IGN score: 9.5/10.Skyrim or Arkham City?
Skyrim is a considerably longer game than just 2 weeks worth of play time, even if you played pretty much 'round the clock. So if you're looking to finish a game during your vacation, definitely go for Arkham.

i have not played Arkham but Skyrim is very very boring. You can play the game for an hour and know everything the game is going to throw at you after that. So having played Arkham Asylum i plan to buy City for my PC. When i went to check if my PC meets the minimum requirements, and on Can you run it, it tells me that my PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

I had the same problem! I restarted from the last checkpoint, so I had to replay everything from waking up in the room and falling out of the chair. It's a little annoying, but this time it worked! When you do actually get to help him, Wayne will say, "On your feet, Ryder," and you'll be prompted to hit the space bar. This didn't happen for me before I restarted, so if it didn't for you either, that would be what I would suggest.

How do i move a Batman Arkham City savegame?

I want to moove my arkham city savegame from a pc to another. Ive installed a fresh copy of Arkham City to another pc and now i want to moove the savegame from the old pc. The savegame is located in My documents /wb games /batman arkham city

I tried to copy all the files there but it didnt worked and crashed the game on startup. I opened to folders and tried to see what file does what. One specific file doesnt need to be copied cuz its the games graphics settings. The rest IDK because there is so much c*** there i dont understand. There is however a folder named Savegames. Obviously tried that but failed. so... please help !How do i move a Batman Arkham City savegame?

First off, PC games are very picky about what files start up when you start the game.



I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you probably can't move that saved game over to the new computer because that save file was created specifically for the other folder on the old computer. The computers can tell the difference..

Arkham City has a lot of violence, but no gore and no blood. It's about as violent as Ratchet %26amp; Clank (which also got T ratings with it's earlier games). It's not too violent unless you have some phobia of violence.

I have both on PS3 so even though I don't have the side of the story for PC I guess I can give you a pretty good impression on how the games compare. I got both games for christmas and can honestly say that I've played Skyrim about 10 times more that Arkham city. However, this is purely down to the fact that it's a massively addictive game and not due to one being better than the other. Infact, I would say that Batman has the better storyline and is generally more entertaining than Skyrim. On the other hand though, Skyrim is a brilliant game and is totally addictive. I wouldn't be able to choose between them but understand that they're both still quite expensive so here's my answer:

Buy Batman: Arkham City if you want a generally badass game that equals, maybe even surpasses, the first game.

Tech's!! I need your Help!! I'm having a problem with Arkham city on my PC.?

Okay the gameplay is fine and so is the controls, but my problem is the sound!

-The sound doesn't match the mouth.

-Sometimes there's dialogue sound and sometimes there's not. Like the Jokers/Catwoman mouth is moving and there are subtitles but no sound! Then another character like Poison Ivy/ Batman is talking and it's perfectly fine.

-The graphics are sometimes slow

-And sometimes the sound sounds like an "echo' or distant.

I'm playing Batman Arkham City on PC, the game is not so easy so I decided to use a trainer for infinite health. Now I'm stuck on the part where you are back in the room (Demon Chamber I think, after Ra's al Ghul bring you back in the small room) I go to the stairs and there is some invisible wall/door blocking me. It's the crappy securom detecting your trainer and causing the glitch .
from what ive been reading you have to start over doing the trials without a trainer active .
i havent found any other solution and i just said f*** it - not worth it . game was boring as it is .

Help, i'm currently divided between buying either of these two games for my pc, I want a 3rd person rpg like Arkham City but from what I've read Skyrim also supports 3rd person view/gameplay like Arkham City, which should I get between these two titles?What PC game should I purchase? Both are good games, however Skyrim is newer and is the new craze over the Batman game.



Now, before you go off and buy Skyrim; you should look at your question and add more information such as the additional details section and insert the specifications of your computer system. If the specifications is not up to scratch; then I would suggest that you do one of the following, which is to upgrade your system in order to play Skyrim; or just go and buy the Batman game which you should be able to achieve reasonable graphics settings with your system; this is just an educated guess as the game is relatively older.



And Skyrim is very resource hungry, so having a modest videocard, as well as an upgrade power supply unit if your existing PSU is not sufficient to handle a new videocard upgrade, and RAM since if you are running Windows 7; having 6GB at least is recommended or better. my solution is: if Batman is outside or at the top of a Building %26amp; the game AUTOSAVEs, dont exit the game b'coz it will crash if you continue %26amp; your save file will be corrupt (dont exit the game when you're outside).

instead Go inside a Building, any Building (steal mill,GCPD,Museum,iceburg lounge,City Hall etc.) then the game will autosave %26amp; its safe to exit the game. next time you continue the game will not crash %26amp; your save file wont be corrupted (exit the game when you're inside a building)........

So I was able to download the game from steam and was able to go to the menu of the game.

I am at the part where you have to save the 2 cops where Penguin's shark Tiny is at. When I try bring the platform over to me, using the grapple hook, it says I have to keep pulling the platform even when it's on an flat part of the ice. I've waited a few months after the release of AC anticipating bugs. I haven't really been following it but apparently there have been serious bugs (with DX11?) so I've held off on buying it. Are the bugs fixed now? Is this a good time to buy it on the pc now or should I wait longer for any bugs to be fixed?Has Batman Arkham City for PC been cleared of it's issues?
It depends on the system (PC) you have. The DX11 issues have been fixed, but only for those with 64bit versions of Windows 7 or Vista. Players like myself, found the game running choppy with DX11 enable, but with the latest patch, the issue was fixed and the game now runs smoothly at max settings, but again, this fix only applies to those of us running a 64bit OS. The developers are still working on a patch for 32bit OS and have asked players to use DX9, until the next patch is released.

Batman Arkham City PC freezes!?

I just got Batman Arkham City for PC and each time I try to start a game it freezes as it tries to autosave. I can't Alt-Tab out or even Cntl-Alt-Del out of the game. I have to manually restart my computer.



I'm running Win XP SP3 ( all updated drivers ) on my iMac thru bootcamp. I've played many other games on bootcamp and haven't had this problem. I even played arkham asylum and it ran perfectly on high settings.



I've tried using the lowest possible settings and it still freezes.

Theoretically yes, depending on how well the game is optimized for PC.



However, I personally think 8GB of RAM is overkill, in fact 4GB seems to be plenty for most games. So I'd suggest going with the "standard" XPS 8300 with the 6770 for $779 and saving yourself another $40.



Although, I'm partial to the Nvidia cards after buying a Radeon 6870 as my most recent video card though. AMD's video cards perform well for the money and run cooler/consume less power than Nvidia's cards, but Nvidia's video drivers are better than AMD's. Additionally, Nvidia's PhysX software enables more detail in games that support it such as Batman Arkham City. There's a video demo link in the sources I listed.



According to what I saw on Dell site, the system you were looking at is $819, you could go with the standard XPS 8300 and upgrade to a GTX 560 ti for a total of $929, $110 more than you were looking at. If you can afford it, that's what I would do if you really want a dell.

You won't need a reward when you finish the story.

When you go back to the city to complete Side Missions, you will be able to at any time, switch to Catwoman.

They have a few switch points in the city you can go to.

You will play as Catwoman again after you go back to Joker in the Steel Mill.

That's the only way I can say when you switch without ruining it for you.

This reviewer http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2011/鈥?/a> was apparently unaware of the issues but as you can see in the previous link it wasn't that his system was necessarily even close to weak it was that the game needs a patch. How good the game looks is completely dependent on your CPU, Monitor/resolution and GPU. If you have his system or my system( with a better monitor after the holidays ) it obliterates the console gfx. Suffice to say the anti-aliasing that is used with the PS3 is poor and blurs the edges as opposed to actually fixing them and the XBOX 360 is only slightly better than that in the AA area. with 1920x1080 and 32x CSAA with all the options maxed out you, excluding DX11 and tessellation are in for one he** of a ride and sweet gfx experience. When the DX11 is fixed it may just bring you to tears.



With my system below I have them all maxed out except for DX11 and tess. with 32x CSAA but my monitor's native resolution is only 1280x1024 but that will soon change.

I played through the game, and as far as I can tell there isn't an auto level key. After coming out of a full dive you either just let go and fall normally, do the shock wave attack if you've unlocked it, or pull up which is what you've been doing. It does take a bit of getting used to, but that's what the AR things are for I suppose.
